a good idea to learn as much as you can about the disease and the available
treatment options. Family and friends can also benefit from being well
informed about the condition that is affecting you.
Whirligig newsletter
Whirligig is the Ménière’s Support Group of Victoria
(MSGV) quarterly newsletter. It contains a wealth of information including:
- articles by a variety of health professionals
- sharing of members’ experiences and coping tips
- ‘mailbag’ - news and views from group members and the
committee
- low salt recipes
- articles from other support groups in Australia and overseas
- updates on Ménière’s research
- information about upcoming events

The Ménière’s Resource and Information Centre stocks
a wide range of Information Sheets containing articles from past issues
of Whirligig. A selection of these sheets is available in our on-line

disease and related topics. The centre collects and disseminates the latest

MSGV meetings
Attending support group meetings can be a socially enjoyable way to
learn more about Ménière’s and pick up useful tips
for managing the condition. The Ménière’s Support
Group of Victoria holds regular meetings for
members, their families and friends. Health professionals interested in
learning more about Ménière’s are also welcome.

speakers
MSGV can provide public speakers to talk to
groups about various aspects of Ménière’s Disease.

information on topics relevant to Ménière’s.
