Complementary and alternative medicine therapies (CAM)
Researchers at Salford University (UK) collected data on individuals’ first hand, personal experiences of using CAM to alleviate Meniere's symptoms, together with published information from the professional and practice literature. The researchers thank all the people who participated in the online research project.

Drop the Salt Campaign Bulletin
Reducing salt intake is a key strategy in managing Meniere's and the Meniere's Support Group of Victoria have joined AWASH (Australian Division of World Action on Salt and Health). AWASH issue a newsletter called “Drop the Salt Campaign Bulletin”. Download the Bulletin (411 KB pdf)
The Bulletin provides information updates on action being taken here and globally - including Salt Awareness Week (January 2008) which focused on the issue of salt levels in foods targeted at children. A feature of Salt Awareness Week was a debate chaired by Dr Norman Swan with speakers Dame Dierdre Hutton, Chair of the UK Government’s Food Standards Agency and Dr Bruce Neal, Chairman of AWASH.

Meniere's Support Group of Victoria - Membership Survey 2006
In 2006 a research team from Chronic Illness Alliance conducted a survey of MSGV members which confirmed the vital role MA plays in helping people cope with Meniere's.
